Plagiarism, Copyright, & Fair Use Policies
Copyright laws protect a person’s exclusive rights to use and profit from his or her own original written work.
-Plagiarism occurs when someone decides to claim another person’s work, taken from the internet, as his or her own work.
-Fair Use Policies allow other people to have limited rights to use brief passages, of copyrighted material, without permission from the original creator.
